Just one year after the original release of Elvis Presley's "King Creole", the studios, wanting ot capitalize on the immense popularity and anticipation of Elvis's discharge from the Army in 1959, they released his earlier films "Jailhouse Rock" and "King Creole".. And they created different movie poster one sheets that many believe were even nicer then the originals. But they were made in much less quantify and hence are far more Rare than the original release posters. This beautiful one sheet is in excellent folded condition with just some minor fold and border wear. See enlargebale image above King Creole (Paramount, R-1959). One Sheet (27" X 41"). As Elvis had been away for over a year serving his stint in the US army, fans were desperate to see their favorite rocker on the big screen. Paramount re-released one of the King's best pictures, "King Creole" to the delight of bobby-soxers everywhere. This poster is far more scarce than the original and is in constant demand by Elvis collectors.
